Dear Friends in Christ,

Please keep Christians for Biblical Israel and our Israel projects in your prayers. We are praying and working to be an extra special blessing to our projects again this year.

I hope and pray that together we can bless and provide our projects with monies enough to help supply all their needs in ministering to the poor and needy. At this time, we have a little over $50,000.00 to distribute to them.

Please pray with me for this year’s distribution. CFBI’s largest distribution to our projects was $93,000 in 2014. As the Lord supplies your needs please remember their needs and ask Him to lead you in your giving. II Corinthians 9:7&8 says, Every man (one) according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

The little country of Israel is facing a great challenge within and without. Gaza could explode into a bigger war while many countries in the UN also want Israel destroyed. In addition, now Russia is on Israel’s doorstep being in Syria, and hostile words are coming out of Turkey. However, there is good news with our projects proclaiming the Gospel, and souls being saved. They need our help more than ever. Our time to serve and bless Israel and God’s chosen people will one day end. May we do our best until then.

Please allow me to give you a more personal and dear to my heart portion of God’s Word to read that I pray will be a blessing to you. The verse of scripture laid on my heart years ago is Romans 8:28. Later the following verse, 29, became inseparable when quoting verse 28. These verses teach that all things work together for good and that our God and Savior, whom we love, has called each of us to live for Him, to serve Him and others, so that we will grow in His grace and “to be conformed to the image of His Son.” Our trial of faith that God’s Word speaks of is precious to Him if it “be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ” (I Peter 1:7). Let us pray for one another to be more Christ like.

Thank you for your love, prayers, support, and giving to the work of CFBI’s ministry. We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,

Dear Friends in Christ,

Thank you for your prayers for my health.  God’s blessings abound to us each day.  In the midst of our trials comes grace and great peace as we keep our faith and trust in Him.

My home church is now helping with the website and making it better, along with taking over many of my other responsibilities.  This is an answer to my prayer.  I have gotten to a point in my health where it has been difficult in carrying out many of my duties and responsibility.  I thank our Lord for His provisions at this time in CFBI’s ministry.  My plans, the Lord willing, are to continue serving and doing what I can to be a blessing to you and to our Israel projects.  In addition, my prayer is that each of you will continue with your prayers and support for Christians for Biblical Israel’s ministry.  Our projects, and our brothers and sisters serving in Israel are doing a great work and growing in the Lord.  Their needs are great and I am thankful for the Lord’s blessings so that we can continue to partner with them for the salvation of many souls and with providing for the poor and needy.

In the near future, you may be getting communication from CFBI that does not have my name on it.  Brother Mike Lindsay and his wife Jean Ann have been a vital part of Timmie’s and my missionary work over the many years.  Mike Lindsay will continue in CFBI’s ministry along with Pastor Gerald McKelroy, and Bill Feltenberger.  Bills wife, Carroll, will be helping also.  Adam Watson will be working with the website.  Please keep us in your prayers.

Christians for Biblical Israel’s mission statement says, “CFBI’s mission is to bring glory to our Father which is in heaven by working to point Israel to her Deliverer and by caring for the poor and the needy (Matthew 5:16, Romans 11:26).”  Jesus came to give His life a ransom for lost souls.  In His travels to preach the Kingdom of God, He took the road that led Him to the lost, to the poor and to the needy.  He gave His all on the cruel cross for you and me.  As our projects follow Jesus, they often face great opposition but continue to serve diligently to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Please keep them and CFBI in your prayers.

Thank you for your love, prayers, support, and giving to the work of CFBI’s ministry.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,

Dear Friends in Christ,

Thank you for your prayers for our annual board meeting.  I thank our Lord for His blessings and leading in the meeting.  We have made decisions that we trust will see Christians for Biblical Israel grow and do more to bring glory to our Father in Heaven.  I believe these will also make CFBI more effective in equipping our brothers and sisters ministering in Israel as they reach out to the lost and to the poor and needy.

Another prayer request that I have is for my health.  I thank God for the seventy-one years He has given me and for the over thirty years of service since my missions call to Israel.  God saved me at the age of nine at what is still my home church.  He has given me so many wonderful friends and supporters of this ministry.  He has done so much for me and He has taught me, and is still teaching me, to love and trust Him more each day.

Thank you all for being a great encouragement to me especially since my beloved wife went home to be with our Lord over three years ago.  Praise God for His comforting hand and His promise to never leave us, or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).  Please continue in your prayers for God’s blessings upon CFBI so we can encourage our projects in Israel as we minister together with them in helping people in need.

There is a great need and expediency to get the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ out to lost souls, and to be a blessing to Israel.  My prayer and my desire is to encourage you as the Lord leads us together in helping with the ministry needs in Israel.

A report from Project Ecclesia;

“We too have a list of families in the church who are struggling economically. One of the ways to help is to pay the heating bills during our short winter and to give out food cards. Each needy family has their specific needs. We try to fit the help to the specific need, to make sure the need is met. Helping a parent with good dental work is a huge help. Helping with rent in a hard month, is a great help. We pray that people will be able to see our faith at work as well – in loving them.”

Thank you for your love, prayers, support, and giving to the work of CFBI’s ministry.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

January 2018

Dear Friends in Christ,

Please begin to pray for Christian for Biblical Israel’s annual board meeting February 24 and our distribution to our projects in the fall.  It is my prayer that God’s will be done in every decision we make and in all that we do concerning being a blessing to you and to our projects in Israel.  In all these things, we desire to see souls saved, the poor and needy helped, and our projects blessed to the glory of God and our Savior.

I am reminded often of two of the many scriptures that tell us of our duty to be a blessing to the seed of Abraham and to bless the Jew first with the Gospel.  Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”  Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”  The greatest way that we can bless those in Israel, and the whole world, is by doing our part to see that the Gospel of our Savior reaches lost souls so that they may have eternal life.

I do want to thank all of you that give to CFBI and that have supported me in my work.  I also want to mention CFBI’s website and thank those of you who give through it.  We took photos this year instead of interviews with our five projects that you can see on the website.  Go to CFBI.org or Christiansforbiblicalisrael.org and click on the “Our Projects” tab to view them.

With thankful hearts, we give glory to God for all His blessings the past fourteen years.  Now, as CFBI begins it fifteenth year of working to be a blessing to Israel and God’s Chosen People, we ask that you continue to work with us.  Without you and the grace of God, CFBI could not be the blessing that God wants us to be.  I thank you very much for your prayers and for your giving.  I also would like to express my gratitude for the joy you have brought in my heart for your part in all CFBI has done for the glory of God.

May God continue to use each of us in 2018 to help people with both their spiritual and physical needs.  And, please remember God’s promise that He will bless those that bless Abraham’s children through Isaac and Jacob, and to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122).

Thank you very much for your prayers, donations, Christmas cards, and gifts.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

Dear Friends in Christ,

We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving and Christmas season.  Our sin is forgiven and we are Heaven bound.  Galatians 3:26, For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

My brother Tom and I were greatly blessed throughout our distribution trip in Israel.  We met with all five of our projects and spent quality time with each.  Thank you for making this possible by your prayers, donations, and support.  Your faithfulness has and continues to bless many of the poor and needy in Israel.  It also has supplied the ministry needs of our brothers and sisters serving our Lord.  Above all, it has been very helpful in seeing that the Gospel continues to be brought to the ears and hearts of the lost.

There is a great need in getting the light of the Gospel to both the Israelis and Palestinians.  With so much religion is the country and with it being called “The Holy Land” one is surprised to learn of the people, as a whole, in great spiritual darkness.  Please, “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matt. 9:38 & Luke 10:2)  One statistic given to me while visiting with a project is that less than 50,000 souls out of a population of eight and a half million people are true believers in Jesus Christ, the Word of God (John 1).

Thank you for giving Tom and me the blessing to distribute $65,200.00 to our projects.  Although I would have like to have seen more, I have said before that the Lord can multiply this as he did the loaves and fishes.  You have done so much for Christians for Biblical Israel this year and the past fourteen years.  You have given both prayerfully and sacrificially.  Thank you so very much.  To God be the Glory!

It was truly an amazing trip to see how the Lord is blessing our projects and to see and hear first-hand of the work and victories taking place in their ministries.  Together, we all can thank and praise God for allowing us to have a part in these ministries among “Abraham’s seed” and “God’s Chosen People”.  Thank you!

And, thank you for your love, prayers, support, and gifts for the work of CFBI’s ministry.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

Dear Friends in Christ,

Tom and I have our reservations and plans set for our collection/distribution trip to Israel the last week in October.  We are looking forward to meeting with our projects, and we request your prayers so that together we will be an extra special blessing as we meet with them and distribute the donations.

A good portion of our donations come in the last two or three months before our trip, and with all the needs around our country please pray about what you can do to increase our gifts of love for our Israel projects. Romans 2:10, But glory, honour, and peace, to every one that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile.

From Project Beit Hayeshua:  Men enslaved to drugs and alcohol continue to get delivered and find new life! The house we opened last October is now full and we feel a need to open a new house for the next ones completing the program. Please pray for God’s guidance in this matter as well as our weekly outreaches to the drug addicts, alcoholics, and prostitutes, and finances to keep up the work.

Project Mariam wrote:   As of today, we have saved over 2,000 lives.   That’s 2,000+ beds, bathtubs and strollers, and over 72,000 bags of diapers and boxes of baby formula.  It has been astounding to watch God provide faithfully.  Surly, He cares for the unborn…

Our Project Ecclesia writes how it continues to help the needy children and their families by providing for them according to their economical ability.  God’s word is faithfully preacher and taught resulting in children giving their lives to the Lord and others making commitments to keep walking with God and letting go of sins in their lives.  As reported many times before, there is much satisfaction in helping those in need.

Project Helping Hand: We are thankful that due to your support we were able to help many Holocaust survivors.  In recent times, we have seen the health of many of the elderly people deteriorate both physically and spiritually; old age and their living conditions have left their mark.  On behalf of the elderly people, we want to thank you very much!

Project Solomon:  After distributing 25,000 tracts in Rishon and Ashdod, we ordered 10,000 more and are currently distributing them. We continue to get regular phone calls as a result of this, including some people who seem more interested than angry. As a direct result of this distribution, Itzik has become a regular in our services.

It has been a great blessing to me to see God faithfully work through you to be a blessing to Israel and God’s Chosen People.  Thank you very much for your prayers and support, now and over the past years.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,

Dear Friends in Christ,

I thank you for your support and the blessing you are to Christians for Biblical Israel, and I praise God for your ministering to our projects in Israel through your gifts of love for their ministries.  Looking back to CFBI’s beginning in 2003 and over 2 1/2 years since Timmie went to be with our Lord, time has quickly faded.  We must live for the Lord today while praying and reaching out to people in fulfilling our calling in Christ Jesus.  Ephesians 5:16 says, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”  May we together live to make our time, in this evil time we are living, acceptable to our Savior.

Four months remain before our Collection/Distribution trip to visit our Israel projects.  I believe many of you have prayed about and are laying in store what you will give to be a blessing to them, to Israel, and to God’s Chosen People.  It is my prayer that you will keep this on your heart and give as the Lord leads so we all can be an extra special blessing to our fellow saints in Israel.

Each of our projects in Israel uses the money you give them to show the Love of Christ in their helping the poor and needy.  Many of “God’s Chosen People”, that are not poor, see that Christians care about their Jewish nation.  This in itself represents a Godly testimony to unbelievers and leads some to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

There is, also the evangelistic effort by our projects.  Their heart and work is to see souls saved by the Word directly.  This can be a difficult and dangerous task for them.  With much opposition from Satan, they stand firm in their faith and work.  My heart is burdened knowing their needs.  It brings me great joy in seeing those needs met.  Thank you for your prayers and giving to the work of CFBI’s ministry.

Our five projects keep me and CFBI updated in their ministries.  Please pray with us in seeing that God’s will be done in the work and life of each project in Israel and His will brought out in each of our lives.  Psalms 9:18, “For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.”

In brief, Project Ecclesia helps many needy families, and its summer camps, “all is paid by the church.”  Project Miriam continues to add new birth mothers to the many they are currently helping.  Project Solomon goes out weekly to help the poor and needy with food and other items.  Project House of Salvation is growing in its addiction ministry, and Project Helping Hand labors among holocaust survivors and needy children.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and giving to the work of CFBI’s ministry.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.

Yours for Israel and God’s Chosen People,

May 2017

Dear Friends in Christ,

Christians for Biblical Israel has been greatly blessed by our Lord over the years and the results will be seen in Heaven.  I truly believe that in it all God has received glory in using CFBI to be a blessing to our projects in Israel and to you, our donors, and supporters who God is using to be that blessing.  Please keep praying for all of us together as you keep in mind that CFBI’s main ministry is to help those ministries in Israel that reach out to the poor and needy with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As I am sure you are aware, Christians serving in Israel receive opposition from some anti-Gospel groups. In addition, there are those that oppose CFBI.  Our project Ecclesia’s website was recently brought down by hackers that hate the Gospel.  CFBI’s website also had problems and was offline.  The evil one is very active in hindering God’s work.

I often see CFBI as a behind the lines supply for our brothers and sisters in the Lord that serve Him on the front line of the spiritual battles they fight each day in Israel.  When Tom and I visited with them last year and gave each of them their donations, we witnessed first hand their devotion and growth in the work.  I know that the help that CFBI’s has given them has enlarged their ability to help the poor and needy and has given them liberties to witness and win souls that they would not otherwise been able to do.

Our Project Miriam last year worked with 450 expecting mothers and babies.  This is up from 15 when CFBI first started helping this ministry.  I am thankful that CFBI is bless to be a part of this ministry from their beginning and a help in saving more than 1800 lives.

Our Project Solomon is doing a great work in outreach witnessing and uses their poor and needy ministry to show the love that Christians in America have for Israel and the Jewish people.  This also helps the ministry in reaching the lost.

The other two projects are Helping Hand and House of Salvation.  Both work to win souls for Christ and are very deserving of the help they receive.  House of Salvation has been able to expand their work with recovering men and now with women too.

CFBI plans to continue helping these ministries as they continue to serve and give their all in service to our Lord.  As our projects have grown over the years, so have their monetary needs.  The $150,000 goal is for our projects in October.  Every dollar collected will go to them.  None of it will go to administrative expenses, travel expenses, or my support unless specifically designated for these expenses.

Thank you for your love, prayers, support, and giving to the work of CFBI’s ministry.  We praise and thank the Lord for each of you in our prayers.
